Welcome to our 2025 Annual Report! We turned 5.

This is a milestone year for Abolitionist Sanctuary.

For five years, we’ve dared to imagine and build a different future—one rooted in care, compassion, creativity, courage and community. For half a decade, we have organized and trained communities to repair harms, restore relationships, rebuild just and equitable systems. Since our inception we aimed to build sanctuary where Black mothers can flourish beyond poverty, punishment, policing, and prisons.

Abolitionist Sanctuary is growing exponentially and we are excited to share our achievements, challenges, and next steps.  We are grateful for your interest in our organization and look forward to continued support to advance our mission, vision, and strategic goals.

Publishes or posts other people’s private information (such as home phone number and address) without their express authorization and permission.
Excessively violent or cruel, or nudity or sexual activity.
Irrelevant, indiscriminate, or inappropriate communication to recipients.
Contains fake content or potential malware.
